Praise for the Fragrance of Upholding the Precepts [and Resulting] Samadhi [Giving Rise to Wisdom]
Incense for the upholding of Precepts and [resulting] Samadhi burns to reach the heavens above.
We, your devout disciples,
Offer it on an exquisite censer.
Instantaneously and suffusively, it has permeated everywhere.
[In this way] in the past Yasodhara avoided calamities and avoided disasters.
Blessed be Bodhisattvas Mahasattvas under incense-cloud canopies.

Recite the Mahakaruna Dharani (aka The Dharani of the Most Compassionate One) 7 times
Praise for Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva
The Bodhisattva known as the Universal Penetrating One
was born in the Seven Precious Tree Grove
with a thousand hand and thousand eye wonderful true features
sits augustly in the Potalaka Palace
from the willow twig, the sweet dew is sprinkled,
showering universally the many worlds and benefitting all
performing miracles atop thousands of billowing waves
then gloriously descending amidst the Assembly
Avalokitesvara's Vows are wonderful and inconceivable
He rescues sufferers by finding their voices just like a magnet attracts iron
He preaches by manifesting himself like the moon reflecting in a pond
In innumerable lands and countries, things are all successful
In this Saha World, furthermore, he showers mercy
His unfathomable benevolence far exceeds the praises of ages
We pray : Have mercy on all beings and protect them all
Blessed be the One on Mount Potalaka, the crystalline world
The most merciful and Compassionate Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva
Recite the following while circumambulating around shrine 100-1000 times : "Namo Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva"

I take refuge in the Buddha and I wish all sentient beings will understand and experience the Dharma, and bring forth the resolve for bodhicitta
I take refuge in the Dharma and I wish all sentient beings will delve deeply into the meaning of the Buddhist Tripitaka, with wisdom as broad and deep as the seas
I take refuge in the Sangha and I wish all sentient beings will be brought together in Great Harmony, without any obstructions whatsoever, and to respect the sacred Sangha
